Data shown are antibody prevalence (%, 95% CI) by age and gender. Antibody prevalence in school children within these two communities are shown for 6–8 age for comparison. Antibodies to recombinant filarial antigen Bm14 were much more frequent in adults than in school age children (ages 10–17), and antibody prevalence was much higher in adult males than in females. Significance test results (*P values) on antibody prevalence in males are shown for each age group above the bars.
