Forty‐six percent (23/50) of medical oncologists documented a psychiatrist compared with 22.9% (8/35) of radiation oncologists (Fisher's exact test, p = .04) and 16.7% (7/42) surgical oncologists (p = .004). Forty‐six percent (38/82) of medical oncologists documented consideration of schizophrenia in cancer treatment planning compared with 15.6% (10/64) of radiation oncologists and 10.1% (7/69) of surgical oncologists (p < .0001).
