Active and passive systems interconnections. The thermoregulatory system modulates shivering (Q shiv), vasomotion (m˙skin,dil, m˙skin,con) and sweating (q eva) according to T core and T skin variations. These latter quantities are evaluated globally from tissue temperature (T t) field. The blood system is not directly affetcted by the thermoregulatory system but it is coupled with tissue system by means of the wall temperature (T w) and the inlet circuit temperature (T in), both derived from (T t) field. The blood temperature (T) computed in the fluid system serves as input in the solid model
