Histology of the keloid dermis at different sites. (A) The boundary and (B) the center of keloid lesion were observed. The interface of lesion and normal skin was identifiable microscopically (white dotted line indicated) and (C) the macroscopically normal-appearing skin surrounding the keloid lesion exhibited a prominent infiltration of lymphocytes.
