Cu (II) enhanced the chromate reduction rate of purified NfoR. Reaction mixtures (1 mL) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.0), 20 μM NfoR, 0.3 mM NADH, 0.2 mM Cr(VI), and 50 μM Cu(II) or Fe (III), were incubated for 10 min in 37 °C. Error bars indicate standard errors.
