Model of prescission conditions for fibrils undergoing sonication. The picture is that fibrils of length L align radially in the vicinity of an imploding bubble of radius R thanks to the radial fluid flow. The radial coordinate from the center of the bubble is s and the fibril has an edge closest to the bubble of s0.
