Astrocytes were transfected with negative control siRNA (siNC) or the gene‐specific siLRRC8C plus siLRRC8E, or siLRRC8C plus siLRRC8D. [³H]Taurine and d‐[¹⁴C]aspartate release rates were measured simultaneously in cells preloaded with both radiotracers.
