In 22q11DS an increased proportion of connections from the anterior cingulate cortex ended locally in the inferior frontal cortex, while a decreased proportion of fibers ended distantly in the precuneus and the posterior part of the corpus callosum (A). On the opposite, an increased proportion of fibers starting form the supramarginal gyrus crossed the corpus callosum in patients with 22q11DS (B).
