General comments	“I’ve got one eye working right now and the other is the old eye. Regarding the operation itself	“Until you had called me…I hadn’t thought about [my anxiety] very much, but the questions you asked made me a little anxious.”	“In fact, I found [hearing voices of operating room personnel] to be quite helpful…it gave me confidence in what they were doing.”
Regarding the anesthesia	“…it hadn’t been thoroughly explained. The options [the anesthesiologist] gave me were if you’re uncomfortable then let me know and we’ll give you something.
