The effect of Maraba virus on body temperatures and weights. Five healthy purpose-bred research cats were vaccinated intramuscularly with 1 × 1010 pfu of an E1/E3-deleted replication-deficient recombinant human serotype 5 adenovirus (Ad) expressing the tumour-associated antigen human placenta specific 1 (hPLAC1) on day 0. On day 21 cats were boosted by intravenous infusion of 2.5 × 1011 pfu of a replication-competent Maraba virus (MG1) expressing hPLAC1. (a) Rectal temperatures and (b) weights were monitored.
