Ad-GFP, Ad-VEGF, Ad-ANG, Ad-NCAM, and Ad-GDNF transduction into the spinal cord cells. Green fluorescent protein (GFP) expression at different time points (A) and the mean fluorescent intensity (B) in the spinal cord sectioned rostrally to the site of injury after intrathecal injection of Ad-GFP. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). Visualization of the recombinant VEGF, NCAM, ANG, and GDNF in the VH (green fluorescence) rostrally to the contusion epicenter after intrathecal injection of adenoviral vector combinations carrying corresponding genes.
