PTHrP up-regulates the expression levels of some Leydig cell-specific genes in vitro. The mRNA levels of Lhcgr, Scarb1, Star, Cyp11a1, Hsd3b1, Cyp17a1, Hsd17b3, and Hsd11b1 were analyzed by qPCR in the seminiferous tubules treated with 0, 10, 100, and 1,000 pg/ml PTHrP for 14 days.
