(A) There were no significant differences in cell viability between the control group and 300 μM matol-treated group after 24 h of treatment. Whereas neuron viability showed a significant decreasing trend in the model group which treated with 100 μM Al(mal)₃. (B) There were no significant differences in LDH leakage rate between the control group and 300 μM matol-treated group after 24 hrs of treatement. By contrast, LDH leakage showed a significant decreasing trend in the model group. Values were mean ± SD of ten individual experiments (n = 10, ^**P < 0.01 vs. control group, one-way ANOVA with Dunnett's multiple comparisons).
