(A) Overexpression of BCAR4 was confirmed by RT-qPCR in HCT8 and SW480 cells. Fold changes were normalized to endogenous ACTB. (B and C) Cell proliferation ability was analyzed by crystal violet assay and colony formation assays in BCAR4 overexpressing HCT8 and SW480 cells. (D) BCAR4 overexpression promotes cells entry into cell cycle. BrdU was added into cell medium and incubated for 2 hours in 1:1000 concentrations. Then, cells were collected, fixed and stained with anti-BrdU. BrdU+ cells were measured by FACS. (E) Overexpression of BCAR4 promotes cell migration. *P<0.05 and **P<0.01 by two-tailed Student's t test. All data presented are shown as means ± SD collected from three independent experiments.
