Experimental measurements of particle deformation under different conditions of pattern structure (θ, L ₀/λ) and lubrication (w). The deformation of the particle is characterized in two aspects: the asymmetry of deformation α and the overall particle strain $\bar{ϵ}$ . In the left column, the control lubrication condition was w = 0.02 wt% and in the right column, the control tilt angle was θ = 81°.
