HBV virion contains core proteins, DNA genome, DNA polymerase, and protein X (right). BNC is a hollow nanoparticle produced by yeast cells. BNC is composed of a lipid bilayer derived from the yeast endoplasmic reticulum and HBV envelope L proteins.
