Note 1: In the interest of brevity, the values representing the percentage of individuals in each category who disagreed with that statement have been omitted. Because the values in each column must sum to 100, omitted variables can be calculated. For example, 51.3% of those age 45 and over agreed with the statement “Hunting helps keep nature in balance.” Thus, 48.7% of respondents age 45 and over did not agree (selected neutral or disagree) with the statement “Hunting helps keep nature in balance.” Note 2: The numbers appear in bold when there is a statistically significant difference at the 5% level.
