Note 1: In the interest of brevity, the values representing the percentage of individuals in each category who disagreed with that statement have been omitted. Because the values in each column must necessarily sum to 100, omitted variables can be calculated. For example, 43.6% of those who did not hunt agreed with the statement “Hunting helps keep nature in balance.” Thus, 56.4% of respondents who did not hunt did not agree (selected neutral or disagree) with the statement “Hunting helps keep nature in balance.” Note 2: The numbers appear in bold when there is a statistically significant difference at the 5% level.
