Effects of capric acid on SOD (a), GPx (b), and MDA (c) levels in the blood serum after the CTX challenge. Miniature pigs were randomly allocated into three groups: (T1) control diet + saline challenge; (T2) control diet + CTX challenge; and (T3) control diet with 0.5% capric acid + CTX challenge. Concentrations of SOD, GPx, and MDA were determined by ELISA (n = 5). Error bars indicate the standard error of the mean (n = 3). A p-value of < 0.05 was considered to indicate statistical significance. Lowercase letters (a, b, c) indicate significant differences between treatments based on Duncan multiple range tests.
