(A) THP-1 cells were transfected with HDAC5 expression construct or an empty vector (EV) followed by treatment with TNF-α (10ng/ml) for 12 hours. ChIP assays were performed with anti-MKL1. (B) THP-1 cells were transfected with siRNA targeting HDAC5 or scrambled siRNA (SCR) followed by treatment with TNF-α (10ng/ml) for 12 hours. ChIP assays were performed with anti-MKL1. All experiments have been repeated three times.
