(A) XIST expression was significantly down-regulated by transfection of XIST shRNA in T24 and 5637 cells. (B and C) CCK-8 assays showed that XIST knockdown inhibited cell proliferation in bladder cancer cells. (D) Colony formation assays indicated that XIST knockdown reduced the number of colonies. (E) XIST knockdown induced cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase in T24 and 5637 cells by flow cytometry. (F) XIST knockdown led to a remarkable increase of the percentage of apoptotic cells.
