Giardia-infected domestic animals from the experiment shown in Figure 1 exhibited different signs of giardiasis. The following clinical manifestations were recorded: diarrhoea (Θ), weight loss (θ), anorexia (ϕ), lethargy (‡), high temperature (■), allergies (●) or no symptom (=). The week after infection in which the episode occurred is shown between parentheses. No increase in body temperature or allergies was detected in any animal.
