Representative photograph of subfoveal choroidal thickness measurements. Subfoveal choroidal thickness was manually measured at the foveal center using digital calipers provided by the Spectralis OCT software. Subfoveal choroidal thickness was measured by calculating the distance from a hyper-reflective line representing the outer border of the retinal pigment epithelium to the inner edge of the suprachoroidal space, which was represented by a hypo-reflective line on EDI-OCT images. (a) eye with acute anterior uveitis, 319 μm (group 1); (b) unaffected fellow eye, 258 μm (group 2); (c) healthy control eye matched with age, sex and refractive errors, 217 μm (group 3)
