Table 2. Production of N2O by strain JAM1 and the JAM1ΔnarG1narG2 double mutant.

Concentrations of NO3, NO2 and N2O were measured after 96 h (OD600nm ∼ 1.2) of incubation in strain JAM1 and JAM1ΔnarG1narG2 cultured under oxic conditions with (A) 16.8 mg-N vial−1 NO3 added at T0h or (B) 4.7 mg-N vial−1 NO2 added at T24h. The results are derived from triplicate cultures. Data represent mean values (SD) (n = 3).
