Upstream genes: EIF1AY (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1A, Y-linked), which encodes for two transcripts, and RPS4Y2 (ribosomal protein S4, Y-linked 2). Downstream genes: KDM5D (lysine demethylase 5D). The knockdown of lnc-KDM5D-4 in HepG2 cells does not influence the expression of its nearest neighbouring protein-coding genes.
