Wistar rats were given access to ethanol (20% in drinking water) or tap water for 2-h sessions during 3 days, and for an additional 4-h session on the 4th day, every week during adolescence, from pnd 28–52. After (pnd 54), animals were submitted to the elevated plus maze, 5 min session. Data are presented as mean ± SEM. n = 13–15 animals per experimental group, coming from eight litters.
