Insulin-like growth factor-2 (IGF2) promotes triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell viability. Initial plating consisted of 1.0 × 105 cells per well. Plated cells were cultured in complete media for 48 h followed by incubation in serum- and phenol red-free medium for 24 h. Cultures were then maintained in IGF2 (100 ng/mL)-containing media for 24, 48 and 72 h. IGF2 culture media was refreshed every 24 h. Viable cells were counted using trypan blue exclusion.
