The N for NEC infants/all infants among Caucasian and African American infants were respectively: AA - 27/233; AG -33/427; GG - 11/216, and AA - 19/125; AG - 11/121; GG - 2/35. Cochran-Armitage tests were used to evaluate risk associated with the SNP. * - p=0.01 (NEC in Caucasians with AA vs. AG vs. GG genotypes): ** - p=0.07 (NEC in African Americans with AA vs. AG vs. GG genotypes).
