Originally, data for 20 kV were compared to a very old publication (BJR supplement 10, 1961) which has since been updated three times and currently (BJR supplement 25, 1996) agrees with AAPM code of practice data within 1%. Therefore current AAPM code of practice values are used for this comparison.
