The first and the second columns correspond to the results of the analytical and the Monte Carlo simulations, respectively. In the first row of each column, left and right sub-figures are the maximum intensity projections along ξ direction of the 3D Fourier domain, corresponding to the noise-free and the noisy cone beam projections, respectively. In the first row, the dot dash lines are the detected boundaries with the line detector algorithm. The second row shows the comparisons of the relative errors between the proposed algorithm (circle marked solid line) and the transformation based algorithm (triangle marked dot dash line).
