Proposed model of redox regulation of KIF1Bβ-mediated apoptosis in neuroblastoma cells. In neuroblastoma cells, KIF1Bβ protein expression induces the production of overall ROS, specifically O₂ ⁻, which resulted in apoptosis. In turn, the increase in O₂ ⁻ positively regulates the protein expression of KIF1Bβ, thus reinforcing KIF1Bβ-mediated apoptosis in neuroblastoma cells.
