APS delays the growth of A549 xenograft in BALB/C nude mice. A549 lung adenocarcinoma cells (5 × 10⁶) were subcutaneously inoculated in the upper left flank of mice, the mice were randomly divided into three group (n = 8 each): Negative control (treated with normal saline), APS (300 mg/kg per day for 30 days through i.p injection), and positive control (8 mg/kg DDP once a week for 3 weeks).
