Proteins adsorbed to the pellets obtained from caecal contents of germ-free, E. coli and E. faecium associated chickens. Six proteins were found as differently abundant either in E. coli or E. faecium associated chickens (*p < 0.05). Igλ, PIGR, pancreatic lipase PINLIP and CPA2 carboxypeptidase A2 were more abundant in the pellets obtained from caecal contents of E. coli associated chickens. Cystathionine β-synthase CBS and ANPEP carboxypeptidase N were more abundant in the pellets obtained from the chickens associated with E. faecium.
