CSPGs act as a mechanical barrier to inhibit the migration of OPCs. When the (A) control group was compared with the (B) 1, (C) 5 and (D) 10 µg/ml CSPG groups, a clear inhibitory effect of CSPG treatment was visible. This inhibitory effect increased as the concentration of the CSPGs increased. The nuclei were stained with DAPI. Scale bar, 100 µm. (E) Statistical analysis revealed that the presence of CSPGs significantly decreased the migration of OPCs. **P<0.01 vs. the control group.
