A chronic model of allergic asthma was established by intranasal administration of HDM for 7 weeks (A). Mouse Sema3E immunoreactivity was investigated by performing in lung tissue section obtained normal (B) and chronic asthmatic (C) mice. Sema3E expression was visualized after incubation of tissue sections with anti-Sema3E specific antibody, Fast-red development and counterstaining by 100X (upper panels) and 400X (lower panels) magnifications. α-SMA staining was also performed on the tissue sections obtained from the same mice (B-C).
