B2G2 treatment inhibits mitochondrial complex III activity leading to ROS generation, decrease in MKP3 activity and Erk1/2 activation. Further, B2G2 treatment decreases cellular ATP level resulting in AMPKα activation. Together, these molecular changes lead to death in human PCa cells by B2G2 treatment.
