Correlation between the number of ground truth lesions and the number of automatically detected ones using the proposed LR-DF model (Pearson’s coefficient R = 0.85, Pvalue < 0.001). All the MS patients with lesion progression were used for this correlation (36 data points - 36 patients). Notice that different patients have the same combination of number of GT lesions and LR-DF detections. Therefore, several points are overlapping in the plot.
