Dendrogram of hierarchical cluster analysis. Dendrogram tree diagram performed within spectral range 1140–1000 cm⁻¹, by using Ward’s algorithm and squared Euclidian distance measurements. The spectra are correctly classified. Control spectra appear grouped together, which describes a high degree of similarity within the groups. Similarly, there is a distinct clustering in the cancer spectra in two subgroups showing the higher degree of heterogeneity between cancerous spectra.
