US28 expression in THP-1 cells, in isolation, attenuates cellular signaling. THP-1 cells which had been induced to express either US28-WT or US28-R129A (which cannot maintain latency) were lysed and analyzed for changes in cellular kinase phosphorylation levels by antibody array.
