Effect of toxicity activity of aqueous extract of Caralluma europaea in vitro spleen cells from mice were cultured in RPMI supplemented with 10% heat inactivated fetal calf serum, 4 mM glutamine, 100 μg/mL gentamicin, and penicillin–streptomycin (200U/mL and 200 μg/mL) and 100 μl of the plant extract at 0.5 or 2 mg/ml. The cells were maintained in continuous culture in a humid atmosphere at 37°C for 24 h.
