SA injection promoted the expressions of the neurotrophic factors such as NGF in the diabetic mice (n = 24 per group). Three and six days post wound, NGF mRNA and protein expression in control group, diabetic group, diabetic + SA group, and diabetic + SA + VEGFR1-BL group were detected (*P < 0.05).
