The sequence alignment of putative miR‐130a and its targeting site on 3′‐UTR of PPARγ shows a high level of complementarity and sequence conservation among vertebrates. B and C, HEK293 cells were transfected with 100 ng pEGFP, pEGFP‐PPARγ UTR or pEGFP‐PPARγ UTR mut along with control siRNA or miR‐130a mimetic, respectively. After 48 h of transfection, the EGFP gene expression (B) and protein level (C) were determined by qRT‐PCR and Western blotting, respectively.
