Sarco(endo)plasmic reticulum calcium ATPase (SERCA2a) and Na²⁺/Ca²⁺ exchanger 1 (NCX‐1) protein levels are elevated in peptidyl‐prolyl isomerase 1 (Pin1)–deficient hearts. Immunoblot showing SERCA2a (A) and NCX‐1 (B) levels significantly increased in Pin1^+/− and Pin1^−/− hearts compared with wild type (WT). Glyceraldehyde‐3‐phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) was used as a loading control. Quantification of protein expression below each representative blot shown as n‐fold expression/WT. N=3.
