PI, an estimate of the width of the particle size distribution, obtained from the cumulant analysis as described in the International Standard on DLS ISO 13321:1996 and ISO 22412:2008 (Malvern DLS technical note MRK1764-01). PI < 0.1 is considered monodisperse, and >0.7 very broad [22, 23].
