Fenofibrate impairs NF-κB activation in primary cultures of Trypanosoma cruzi-infected cardiomyocytes. Cardiomyocytes were treated with 100 μM Fen 30 min before infection with T. cruzi. After 15 or 30 min post-infection, IκBα cytosolic expression was determined by Western blot with specific antibodies.
