Correlations between R2* values and exposure metrics were conducted with adjustments for age.

Correlations between R2* values and whole blood Fe levels were conducted with adjustments for age and whole blood metals Cu and Mn. For R2* values and blood Mn level correlations, blood Cu and Fe levels were included in the analysis as covariates. For R2* values and blood Cu level correlations, blood Fe and Mn levels were used as covariates.
