Hoxb8 neutrophils expressing mFpr2 are activated through culture filtrates of PSM-expressing USA300. Culture filtrates of PSM-expressing S. aureus USA300, but not from an isogenic PSM deletion mutant, induce calcium influx (A) and CD11b up-regulation (B) in WT but not in Hoxb8 mFpr2−/− cells at indicated concentrations.
