The impact of ubiB internalization on the Ub landscape in human cancer cells. HeLa cells were treated with ubiB or MG132 for 8 hrs prior to lysis. Anti-Ub is used to probe the Ub landscape of HeLa cells lysed in SDS. Despite the dramatic difference in high molecular weight Ub conjugates, Ponceau S staining (right panel) shows equal loading of proteins across all lanes.
