aType I-V represented five different integron structures in our study (Figure 2).

bIn this study, class 1 integrons with qacEΔ1 and sul1 genes in their 3′-CS were named as classic class 1 integrons. Accordingly class 1 integrons without the normal 3′-CS were named as non-classic class 1 integrons.
