The best model by Akaike information criterion contained the diagnoses of traumatic brain injury, neurobehavioral symptom severity (a 29-domain measure of neurological, cognitive, and mental health function), performance on the 7.5-m (25-ft) walk (a measure of motor strength, balance, and coordination), performance on the Wechsler Test of Adult Reading (a measure of preinjury intelligence), and performance on the Controlled Oral Word Association test (a measure of verbal fluency).
